This vintage grape vine motif bowl was once a dish for steamed vegetable sides and part of a collection of matching crockery belonging to a large Japanese family household. The whole set was put into storage for decades, leaving it in near mint condition. Made of heavy Japanese porcelain, every piece has a crackle glaze and is hand-painted with blue underglaze motifs of grapes and vine leaves, and a deep brown edging.
