Drumsco Sushi Pop-up
We're having so much fun introducing new Japanese Pop ups at NiMi Projects. And we're super excited for this one — on Saturday 11th July, we are welcoming Drumsco, East London's brilliant Japanese pop-up Izakaya, for a one-day-only sushi event!
Drumsco (どら息子 — meaning "lazy sun" in Japanese) was founded in 2017 by two Japanese drummers who brought their love of music and home-style Japanese cooking together into one of East London's most-loved izakaya pop-ups. Now they're bringing that same warmth and flavour to Kent.
On the day, you'll find a beautifully vibrant selection of Temari Sushi — delicate, hand-rolled "ball" sushi named after traditional Japanese embroidered balls. They’ll be topped with tender King Prawn, earthy Smoked Mackerel, fluffy Japanese Omelette, refreshing Pickled Radish, Roasted Bell Pepper, and Ume pickled plum with Cucumber. Drumsco will also be bringing their signature Inari Sushi (vegan) — sushi rice tucked into sweet pockets of fried tofu. Join us and build your own perfect plate of delights.
Drumsco are bringing a limited number of each, hand-prepared for the day — so if you've got your eye on a particular flavour, we'd suggest popping in earlier rather than later!
Free entry — just drop in, no booking needed
