Necktie is a Sapporo-based design unit of artists Norio and Asami, whose works include paper goods, picture books and whimsical objets d'art. Their heart-warming Birthday Bear cards feature a fun-loving girl with her playful best friend, a brown bear, in dream-like scenes of giant cakes and flowers.
Each of the designs is lightly embossed, enhancing details of the illustrations and adding rich textures, and both include matching illustrated envelopes.

Strawberry Shortcake — the two friends decorate a huge birthday cake with equally oversized strawberries.
Pink Tulips — tulips as tall as trees provide a magical space for the girl and her bear friend to play hide and seek.
