Based in Kobe, Yasuhiro Horiuchi of Trunk Design is on a mission to revitalize traditional Hyogo Prefectural crafts through contemporary design. He personally visits each artisan he works with to learn about their work, and spends years perfecting products that bring Japanese crafts to the modern market.
