HATASHIKKI

Hatashikki has been producing traditional Japanese Yamanaka urushi lacquerware since 1930. Today, it still hand-turns and hand-paints its products, using vertically cut Japanese wood,  a unique process that creates shock-resistant vessels with striking grain patterns.
