Based in Kochi, Japan, the artisans of NiMi Projects Hinoki collection have worked since the 1970s with Shimanto hinoki — Japanese cypress from the Shimanto River valley. Prized for its fine grain, warm, citrusy scent and natural resistance to bacteria, hinoki is dried naturally for three to six months before shaping. Off-cuts, branches and thinned timber are put to use wherever possible, so as little of each tree goes to waste.

Care Instructions: Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Sachet can be left to dry and reused 2-3 times. Do not use in combination with other bath products. Remove before draining water. Not recommended for stone or marble bathtubs. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
