We love the calla lily motif of this vintage Japanese tea set. The pastel pink and yellow make a perfect match for the traditional blue underglaze of Arita porcelain. Each flower is given a little extra texture with a single outlining brushstroke of thick white glaze.
The teapot is a top-handled uwade and each of the 4 cups are lidded, featuring the same lily design. It's delightfully retro in a mid-century manner, yet still so elegant — a beautiful way to serve green tea or simply display as objet's d'art.
