We love the retro elegance of this Arita porcelain teapot made by the Kiyokusui kiln. Around its body and across the lid, sprigs of traditional chrysanthemums in yellow and red drift along a swirling river of blue. The waters are outlined in gold and the coloured glaze is raised, adding a little texture. A circle of gold on the lid gives it just a touch of luxury the white base. Our favorite detail is the bamboo handle — a little simplicity to balance its decorative nature.
