TRANQUIL PLANTS MINDFUL MOSS BALL WORKSHOP
Japan has long appreciated the beauty of moss — its lush, sprawling nature symbolising the passage of time, peace and tranquility. It’s no surprise that making moss-ball plants, known as kokedama, became a popular pastime, their spherical forms supporting small plants like bonsai.
Join Tranquil Plants founder Stefan Thomas to create a palm-tree moss ball and appreciate the meditative influence of plant care. During the workshop, you’ll craft a soil ball around a mini palm, cover it in moss and learn what’s needed for your creation's long life. The class includes all materials and you’ll leave with a beautiful plant for the home.
Please note, we have two workshops — one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
