Our only vintage Japanese Lustreware piece, we found these Showa (1928 -1989) lidded teacups an alluring balance of delicacy and glamour.
Their dainty design of hand-painted aquamarine blue leaves and striking sunset orange petals appear water-colour like, yet the pearlescent sheen of a light lustreware layer make them almost flamboyant.
