angle-japanese-ceramic-choco-mint-mug
ANGLE CHOCO MINT MUG

A good, honest mug, made all the more interesting by a little unpredictability. Angle's Choco Mint Mug is a simple, straight-sided shape — an easy, everyday form that suits a morning coffee just as well as an afternoon cuppa or evening tea.

The beauty comes from the glaze. Iron is worked into the clay before molded, and as the piece is fired, it rises to the surface to leave a scattering of rich, chocolate-toned, oxidised marks across the soft, muted glaze. No two pieces come out quite the same, so the mug you receive will be genuinely its own.

Available in off-white, and dusky pink or blue. Pair it with the Choco Mint Plate to complete the set.

Angle work with various pottery manufacturers in Japan — from fine porcelain to earthenware — to create contemporary designs using traditional and local Japanese techniques.
