AirVase 24 Colours offers countless imaginative ways to breathe new life into any small object in the home.
Designed by Torafu Architects for Fukunaga's Kami no Kousakujo lineup of goods, the AirVase is a circle of paper, laser-cut into an intricate lattice that can be stretched and shaped over vases, bottles, or ornaments to add dimension and colour.
This new set offers a whopping 24 sheets, all in different hues selected from paper specialist Takeo’s NT Rasha series of quality matte paper. Use them as-is, or get creative and draw your own patterns on them for something extra special. With so many colours to choose from, we recommend shaping a few into different forms and layering them to create an artistic centerpiece.
In 2006, Fukunaga Print, a paper company already renowned for innovative packaging solutions, began the Kami no Kousakujo (Paper Workshop) project to research and develop new and novel uses of paper. Since then, it has collaborated with numerous contemporary designers to produce a lineup of inventive and unusual stationery, games, objet and homewares, all constructed from the company’s range of quality paper and card.
