Kaya Kiji Dishcloths are delightfully patterned — a bright way to mop up spills with a splash of colour. Seven layers of fabric are sewn together, with the outer ones made of an unusual textile — traditional cotton mosquito netting produced in Nara. Easy to wash and quick to dry, the netting helps pick up moisture, while inner layers of natural-fibre rayon increase absorbency — an environmentally friendly alternative to paper towels.
